GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Sirio is an electronic device based on inverter technology that controls the start and the stop of a electric pump.
Thanks to this kind of technology it is able to modulate the frequency (Hz) of the current that powers the motor, in order to make it change the speed (rpm), according to the water request from the system.
In this way the pressure reaches the users always with a constant value and the motor absorption is always proportioned to the real claim of the system, allowing a relevant save of energy in the time.

FUNCTIONALITY
• Possibility to adjust a set-point pressure (Pmax), i.e. a value which has to be kept constant in the system, as per the limits of the pump maximum flow rate.
• Possibility to adjust a start pressure (Pmin) at which achievement the pump starts.
• Protection from dry running in case of water leak during suction.
• Automatic reset in case of shutdown caused by dry running, Sirio is able to verify periodically and autonomously a new disposal of liquid in suction. The number of operations and the intervals between them can be customized.
• Leaks control on two levels of security: in case of small leaks the system
indicates on the display the presence of a defect, but the pump continues
its normal work; in case of big leaks, which make the pump restart continuously, Sirio stops the running of the motor, in order to avoid serious damages at the electric pump itself (this function can be excluded).
• Alphanumeric back lighted display with the indication in real time of the pressure and of the motor speed.
